Origin & Farmer

Where the coffee begins

Behind every exceptional coffee, there is a place — and a person whose knowledge, patience, and decisions shape each harvest.

Ragonvalia, Santander

Located in the northeastern highlands of Colombia, Ragonvalia offers a unique combination of altitude, temperature variation, and fertile soils. These conditions allow the Geisha variety to mature slowly, developing aromatic clarity and structural balance.

At elevations close to 1,920 meters above sea level, coffee trees experience cooler nights and longer ripening cycles — a key factor in achieving refined acidity and layered complexity.

The farmer

Domingo Torres

Coffee grower at El Refugio farm, Domingo Torres approaches cultivation with discipline and restraint. His work focuses on consistency, selective harvesting, and respect for the natural rhythm of each plant.

Rather than maximizing yield, his priority is balance — allowing the variety and the environment to speak without intervention beyond what is strictly necessary.

A shared philosophy

Gloria Geisha Coffee exists because of long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and shared standards. Each release reflects not only a place and a harvest, but a commitment to doing things well — even when it means producing less.

This coffee is not the result of chance. It is the result of intention, season after season.
